Migration Venture Safari Package is specifically designed to focus on increasing your chances to see the great Serengeti wildebeest migration.
The Serengeti areas in Tanzania are the best locations for the months of July to witness thousands of wildebeest spread across the plains grazing on the rich short grass plains. Predator action is at its peak with great sightings of cheetah, lion, hyena and leopard and a very good chance to see adrenalin packed kills.

Safari Itinerary

  • DAY 1 : Arusha/Moshi - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your place, you will be pick up at 08h00 this morning you will drive southwest through Masai steppe land to Tarangire National Park for Lunch. After Lunch you will spend the rest of the day game viewing in Tarangire, viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park.
This park boasts a high concentration of animals, including elephant, zebra, eland, and wildebeest, and plenty of predators. Picnic Lunch will be served at the picnic site where you will have a nice view of Tarangire River overlooking down the valley where most of the animals will be gathering drinking from the river. Later afternoon you will drive back to the lodge for overnight.

  • DAY 2 : Tarangire – Lake Manyara

Breakfast at the Lodge, depart to Manyara for lunch. After lunch you will enjoy afternoon game drives at Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is located just below the great African rift valley, Lake Manyara is the soda lake which hosts thousands of flamingos and the park is also the home of tree climbing lions.
Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

  • DAY 3 : Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After leisure breakfast, with picnic lunch drive past the great rift valley escarpment and through the wheat and coffee farms towards Ngorongoro conservation area, after processing all the permits proceed to Serengeti National Park where you will have chance stop for a short visit of Olduvai gorge if you like (optional tour), Picnic lunch will be provided at Naabi hill gate. After Lunch proceed to Central Serengeti with game drives en route to the Camp/Lodge.

  • DAY 4 : Serengeti Central – Northern Serengeti

You will leave after breakfast in the morning and spend the half day game viewing in central Serengeti and Seronera River Valley, an area rich with wildlife all year around and a common place to see big cats especially Leopards and Lions. Late after Lunch you will continue to the north east Serengeti for Overnight. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

  • DAY 5 : Lobo – Serengeti – Mara River

Full day of game viewing at Serengeti National Park with your private safari land cruiser and safari guide. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

  • DAY 6 : Lobo Area – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, depart with picnic Lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro. You will spend the morning viewing the animals at around Seronera Valley and proceed to Ngorongoro with game drives en route. Picnic Lunch will be served on the way and if interested this will be the day to visit Maasai Village and get the chance to interact with Maasai and enjoying their activities and get the chance to see inside their houses and other activities. Later proceed to Ngorongoro for overnight.

  • DAY 7 : Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the Lodge, depart with picnic lunch to Ngorongoro Crater where you will spend the full the day exploring Ngorongoro crater which is a World Heritage Site and home to nearly 25,000 animals. Giving you a very real chance of spotting the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo, plus countless other African mammal species. You will witness the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora.
You will take time out to stretch your legs and enjoy your picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs watching the hippos jostle for position in the water. After lunch you will proceed with game viewing leaving the crater floor in the late afternoon and drive back to your facility. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

  • DAY 8 : Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Moshi

Leisure breakfast at the Lodge, departs to Arusha for lunch at the restaurant, and later Drop off at Arusha airport/Kilimanjaro International Airport.
