Arusha National Park is a spectacular view of the multi – coloured alkaline Momella Lakes. On clear days magnificient views of Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen from almost any point withinh the park.
The vegetation and wildlife varies with the topography, which ranges from forest to swamp. The park is famous for its birdlife, both migrant and resident, and black and white Colobus monkeys. Other animals frequently seen in the park are Baboons, Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffe, Hippos, Leopards, Hyenas, Zebras and a wide range of Antelope species.
New tourist attractions include canoe safaris on the Momella lakes and walking safaris around the the rim of the Ngurdoto Crater.
